CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT

I led the branding and campaign development for this new brand funded by SNAP. Our goal was to educate Colorado families on how they can shop for and prepare healthy foods, even when time and money is tight. Creative included naming, logomark, website, an interactive recipe finder and a creative campaign with social and out-of-home.

NAMING AND BRANDING

Our audience thinks that eating healthy is hard so we focused on names that helped Coloradans know they don’t have to go it alone—they can start being healthy one small step at a time. Visually we wanted a more modern look and feel that appealed to young families and felt fresh and new like our novel tips on eating healthy.

THE WEBSITE

Our look and feel was inspired by the fresh colors and textures of a farmers market. Our brand palette reflects the colors of delicious fruits and veggies and wood textures evocative of farmers food crates. To make learning about healthy eating fun, we created simple, interactive modules that kids and adults could explore together.

RECIPE FINDER

To make it easier to eat healthy, we created a recipe finder with large imagery of delicious-looking food. Our easy-to-use navigation helped adults and kids quickly search for foods based on flavor—spicy, sweet or savory. Our filters allowed them to narrow recipes based on meal type and prep time and easily send their favorite recipes to themselves via email.

CREATIVE CAMPAIGN
Using stock and modern graphics we created a social campaign that gave our audience ideas on how to shop for and prep delicious food on a budget. Our simple videos and images ran across Instagram, Tik Tok and Facebook in English and Spanish.
